1. How many rooms are there in every path?
The children are placed on the side of the chessboard with the numbers
The children are placed on the side of the chessboard with the letters

2. Reading the coordinates using pieces of cord
Children who are outside the castle are connected with a rope to the child who is inside a square on the chessboard
Children have to place themselves inside the castle by connecting the ropes in line with the child
The children stand outside the castle and tell the child inside the square where to stand
3. Possible scores for the team (Coordinate reading variant with the use of cords):
Increase if the team uses ropes to read the co-ordinate
Increase if the team reads the co-ordinate without external help
Increase if team members outside the castle suggest the co-ordinate
